I have about 5-6 applications that I have open on my Mac which I constantly switch between all day long. I currently use Command-Tab to do most of my switching but Ideally I'd like to set my own shortcuts like Control-Command-0-9 to toggle between my most used apps as it would be much faster for me. All of those keyboard shortcuts work, but if you wanted a quick way to switch between full-screen apps, just use ctrl + arrow key. I don't know what to tell you for minimized apps though because those don't work. You could just set focus to the app and use the 'show available windows' option in mission control by using ctrl + arrow down. Toggling is switching between applications or tabs within the same application using keyboard shortcuts. In doing so, you will be able to move around the Mac OS more efficiently, and get more done in less time. MacOS has an app switcher that you can activate with the Command+Tab keyboard shortcut. This app switcher isn't the most intuitive to use. It seems to only let you select an app as its primary function. If you want to switch to an app, you have to release the Tab key and use the Option key to switch to the most recent window for that app.

To see a list of shortcuts that you can use with an app, press and hold the Command ⌘ key when you use the app or on the Home screen.

Press Command + Shift + `: For backward switching between different windows of same application. Another important point to note is that this shortcut won't work if your application window is full screen. In that case you need to use Mission control shortcuts for switching.

Use common keyboard shortcuts

Most iPad keyboard shortcuts use the Command ⌘ key, like on a Mac. If you're more familiar with a PC keyboard, the Command ⌘ key does the same thing as the Control key on a PC.

Here are some common keyboard shortcuts:

• Command-H: Go to the Home screen.
• Command-Space bar: Show or hide the Search field.
• Command-Tab: Switch to the next most recently used app among your open apps.

1. Open Settings, then tap Accessibility.
2. Tap Keyboards.

Windows 10 Switch Application Shortcut

When you have several windows of same applications running and you want to switch between them using keyboard, then pressing Command + tab would do nothing as this only switch between different apps.
